Akadema bamboo bats are a great alternative to our USA ash and maple bats and make excellent bats to use in amateur play or to train with. Chinese bamboo has been known as very strong wood because of its tensile strength. Akadema bamboo bats are made with the best pieces of bamboo and pieced together by a special glue under two tons of pressure. The composite bamboo is then doweled into a billet and placed on a lathe. The bat is sanded smooth and sprayed with three coats of paint. The bamboo bat resembles the Akadema 643 profile.
